Integrating ticketing system - Intercom
Give your AI agent access to your ticketing system. You can switch this on/off or switch between read-only/write access in the app as needed.
Authorise the link between Lorikeet and Intercom
- Please nominate the email address of someone with admin access to Intercom - send through to Lorikeet team in our shared Slack channel
- Lorikeet team will send back a magic link to allow authorization. This will expire in 7 days, let us know if you need a new link
- Please action the steps in the magic link (this can only be actioned by the individual with the email address given in Step 1)
- Please send us the following details:
Intercom account id
of the agent you’d like Lorikeet AI Agent to post as
- Lorikeet team will continue setup in our system.
- When all set up, Lorikeet team will let you know, and you will be able to control that access from within Lorikeet app, under Build > Integrations
Setup Intercom - Lorikeet webhooks to allow real-time access of ticketing data changes
- Create an app within Intercom Developer hub (Step 1 and 2 in this doc https://developers.intercom.com/docs/build-an-integration/getting-started/)
- Please send us the following details:
App id
(the short string in the url after https://app.intercom.com/a/apps/)App’s Client secret
(from App > Configure > Basic information > Client secret) this is used to validate the webhook requests
- Configure the App Webhooks as follows (in App > Configure > Webhooks) (hitting Save will give the error Unsuccessful test request, but that’s all good, we just haven’t configured the specific endpoint to respond to the test)
